• Consumers purchase plastic drinkware primarily when breakage of glass is an issue
• In-home usage is primarily for entertaining, for everyday use and for children
– Important needs are fashion/décor/style/size, unbreakable and dishwasher safe.
• Outdoor usage ranges from alfresco dining to picnics, to boating, to camping. Practicality progressively becomes more important as the usage situation becomes more extreme. Issues of storage can be vital where space is restricted. Important needs are unbreakable, stability, transport and storage with fashion/décor needs varying in importance depending on the location.
